About the clinic

Clinique La Prairie is one of the most famous health establishments in the world, founded in 1931 by the Swiss physician Dr Paul Niehans after he pioneered cellular therapy. Set on the shore of Lake Geneva at Clarens, in the Riviera district of the canton of Vaud, the institution has grown from its longevity origins into a two-part operation: the Clinique La Prairie Medical Center, which provides preventive and curative medicine, surgery, imaging, dental and aesthetic care to local and international patients, and the health resort, whose signature Revitalisation and Health Diagnostic Assessment programmes combine medical screening, nutrition, fitness and wellness. Its Health Diagnostic Assessment draws on more than 50 medical specialists. The group also operates destinations beyond Switzerland, with wellness sites planned in Thailand and Saudi Arabia.
